![]() There are no menu sounds.Īs of this afternoon, I have listened to every single piece of audio that I extracted from the disc and haven't found a single menu sound. It has every line of voiceover in the game, all the musical samples, monster sounds, footsteps, explosions, and other things like that. I've found a gold mine.Īfter a bit more time converting and saving this ~2.6 gigabyte collection of sounds to my hard drive, I start to comb through them and listen. The process takes a moment, and after it's done, I see a playlist populated with almost 16,000 individual. I pop in the disc and use PSound to extract all the audio bites as. What I want to do is extract all the audio from my Final Fantasy X disc - especially the menu effects (cursor selection, cancel, enter, equip, etc.). I played around with speed hacks, but everything above "Balanced" messes up the graphics, and none alters the dialogue delay. To get started check out our wiki page or The Emulation General Wiki. The longer the audio clip was, the longer the delay is. A character talks, and after the audio clip has been played, the other character doesn't start talking right away. Not during the title screen, the cutscenes (all of which are rendered in-game - no FMVs), or the levels. The sound effects works perfectly, but there is no music whatsoever. The frame rate is at a constant 50FPS, and there aren't any graphical glitches. ![]() ![]() The only setting I changed is that I set the resolution to 16:9 1080p and 720p (switched between the two doesn't seem to impact the performance). I'm currently trying to run Frank Herbter's Dune via PCSX2 1.4.0.
